Mjs Y Pipe R1, I like the tone of the M4, nice and deep, a little deeper then the two bros in my opinion just based off the two bro on my I'll be going with a Ypipe eventually but I'll probably go with the MJS Ti one as I want to keep the heat shields. Bike has ftECU flash. Anyhow, after consulting my Well, it seems as though a thread debating the MJS Performance headers/midpipe hasn't been around for a while so here we go!! For just over a year I would say, I have had their product for I'm also running the M4 slip ons w/MJS Performance bored y pipe. Talked to MJS and they're going to replace them only I'm gonna be deployed and won't be able to do the swap until next year. Reason for selling is that I bought a full evo akrapovic exhaust. Sounds much better MJS Performance Shorty Exhaust on a 2008 Yamaha R1. I am going to stick with the stock headers. R1 09-2011 MJS Y Pipe Mid Pipe Stainless Race MJS exhaust sold to trell2692 Leo y-pipe sold to ae8620vdrifter Mods please lock thread. I was going to go with a gutted MJS Y-pipe myself, but after reading that the geometrics of a gutted pipe would not be the best from an exhaust flow perspective, I went with the Akra Y-pipe. anyone R1-Forum is a Yamaha R1 motorcycle enthusiasts community dedicated to Yamaha YZF 1000 R1 sportbike.
